My Interest
People assume that because I work in veterinary medicine I do not deal with a lot of people, but it is actually the opposite. Through veterinary medicine I have met a lot of people from various backgrounds even within our own Los Angeles community. I have interacted with clients experiencing homelessness and millionaires who paid 10 grand for their animal's surgery. Listening to other people and hearing their viewpoints and stories has broadened my own perspectives and I would like to share this with others. 

Goals 
My mission is to bring together as many people as possible. I want this to be a mass movement where people from all over the world come together, even those who are not interested in making connections. In addition to forming connections I also want to make "We" a safe space. Some type of screening process to prevent minors, bots and predators from joining will be put in place and people can anonymously report someone if they are problematic at any time. 

How to Use "We"

1. First create a profile - personal information such as last name or location will be hidden. 

2. Choose a Category - to encourage interest we will offer a variety of topics where people are interested and are looking for growth. 
    
3. Course Placement - People fill out availability and commitment and depending on schedules are placed in a random class with other people from around the world. 

4. Group Chat- Everyone will be put into their respective group chat with other members of the class where they can always go to ask questions or start conversations. 

5. Live Meetings - Around once a week (depending on that group's commitment) people will meet. The meetings will either be led by a group member (ie. Martha teaches everyone how to cook chicken soup) or will be unstructured and will act as a group discussion. A "We" member will be there to facilitate the first few meetings until the group is more comfortable. AI translation will be available via app. 

6. Course Ending - Course times will range from 4 weeks to 6 months depending on what the group committed to. People have the option at the end of the course to exchange information and stay in touch, or take the knowledge they have gained and move on. 

 

Why Invest?

"We" provides a unique approach to fostering community that reaches beyond what apps such as HelloTalk or Bumpy attempt to do. Encouraging people to work together and learn together while sharing their culture and passion is a great way to encourage connection. 

With the help of Anima Mundi Development Partners (AMDP), "We" will be able to expand and grow. Some goals would be to reach out to Universities and Professors to offer "We" for course credit, or encourage members of the UN to participate so they can get a better sense of the world they serve. "We" also hopes to expand into areas where there may be limited access to technology or the internet. AMDP would allow "We" to reach this goal and make global change.
